Garrysmod : HL2 has stopped responding : Fix

Ok so if your out their and whenever you start up garrysmod it loads and then ses hl2 has stopped responding. Well their is no need to worry hopefully. Even a 1.8 GHz can sometimes run garrysmod perfectly. So lets begin go onto my games tabb in steam and right click on garrysmod then click properties the you click on set launch options and in their put: -dxlevel 30 for a old computer. dxlevel 50 for a ok computer and -dxlevel 80 or 90 for a gaming computer.
Then start garrysmod and that should fix it. :d
